When losing a loved one it can be one of the most difficult things to go through.
I know losing my mother to COPD was one of the hardest times in my life. We took care of her until she left the physical world. As she was going through the last stages of life we had some funny moments and some sad moments. There is so much going on during that time that all we could think about is her leaving and not having her physical presence with us here. Even knowing that I still questioned how she would appear to me and what that would be like.
That evening she came to me while I laid in bed and it felt like a blanket of electricity that covered my body. There was such a sense of peace that washed over me. The next day as we were going to the store a heart appeared in the sky clear as day. I will never forget it.
I want you to know that our loved ones give us signs all the time.
They can come in the form of a butterfly, hummingbird, numbers in sequence and so many other ways. One of the key ways to know if it is a sign, you may not be thinking of them and something happens and they pop up in your mind. It’s their hello or letting you know I’m with you and I love and support you. They will make an appearance on special occasions like anniversaries or birthdays.
So now that you know, try to be more aware and watch out for the signs!
